It began with a father’s realisation that his children stood little chance of owning their own homes in the future. How could they when the vast majority of today’s aspiring first home buyers are struggling to save a deposit?

This realisation turned into a research project — a project that included meetings with bank CEOs, industry groups and the Victorian State Government.

From that research project, Real Estate Capital was born.

Today, Real Estate Capital is developing frontier, scalable and accessible pathways to first home ownership that aim to assist couples and families who want to transition from a life of renting to owning their own home.
